Both are smaller, sweeter and have a stronger banana flavor than the average yellow banana found with a grocer. However like the common banana these need to ripen at room temperature rather than while refrigerated. Both varieties turn much darker as they ripen, and their telltale black spots indicate when they’re ready to eat and enjoy!
