For the first time we're creating special "Pink" gifts for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Purchase any of these three gifts and 25% of the proceeds will go toward the Treva Hoffman Foundation, an organization based here in Oregon that devotes itself to raising money for breast cancer research and assisting current breast cancer patients with bills and every day care.

It's difficult to find someone who doesn't know a woman (or man) who's been afflicted with breast cancer. In fact 1 in 8 women will get breast cancer in their life. The proliferation of this disease is utterly tragic. Even after years of research we still do not know all of the causes of breast cancer. The Treva Hoffman Foundation largely focuses its efforts on funding a specialized cryotherapy lab that collects localized tissue for research. There isn't a lab like it in the nation and its goals are truly admirable. They also strive to provide assistance for those currently undergoing treatment for breast cancer, whether it be through a homemade meal from a neighbor to helping with the daunting task of sorting through medical bills.
