The Fruit Company has also made significant changes to its food safety and quality control programs this year, and recently was certified under the HACCP program. HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a food and pharmaceutical safety program originally designed by NASA and Pillsbury for the space program. While voluntary for our industry, we felt strongly about the safety of our products matching their premium quality.
