Peaches

Peaches are the third most popular fruit in the nation behind apples & oranges.

Blushing, sweet, fragrant, and juicy, peaches are best to be eaten fresh. Ripe peaches will keep 3 to 5 days in the refrigerator, but should be set in room temperature if they are not yet ripe.

Our peaches do still have the fuzz although most of the peaches that are sold in markets are freestone, and de-fuzzed by the grower. They are best and cheapest in the summer.
